Evoqua has been providing specific solutions for the oil and gas industry for over 40 years. The CAPAC® corrosion protection systems and Chloropac® marine growth prevention systems have wide acceptance within the sector. Evoqua’s industry leading Chloropac® systems provide an effective, environmentally safe method of preventing biological fouling using technically superior equipment for energy efficient, long-term plant operation. The systems can operate continuously as a marine growth prevention device and can now be specified with a dual-purpose, sharing resources with ballast water treatment using Evoqua’s SeaCURE™ ballast water management system.  The chloropac system has been utilized within the Oil & Gas industry for over 40 years. Each system can be designed and engineered to the specific requirements of the operator.

BOP fluid in hydraulic lines provides the muscle needed for the blowout preventer's powerful rams to seal a well shut during drilling or in an emergency, preventing pressurized hydrocarbons from escaping into the environment. The fluid is typically based on water, rather than oil, to protect the undersea environment. Keeping BOP fluid free from bacteria and other contaminants helps keep lines, valves and fittings free of deposits and corrosion, assuring more reliable operation. The RWS-MI BOP fluid water treatment system is a compact, energy efficient system for the management of mixed fluid used for blowout preventers in offshore operation, where the RWS-MA BOP system is used for the treatment of makeup water. Both system use two technologies; advanced ultraviolet (UV) light technology for the prevention of microbial growth and cartridge filters to remove the suspended solid contaminants in BOP mixed fluid supply water. For RWS-MA BOP systems, there are two designs available: makeup system or as mixed water system. The modular design of the makeup system allows for the addition of a water softening skid system to reduce the feed water calcium and magnesium hardness levels before entering the makeup UV system.
